A comprehensive overview of our appointment roadmap, starting from your first trimester checkup through birth and postpartum home visits.
Confirming your pregnancy, establishing your customized schedule, conducting comprehensive clinical lab blood draws, and going over nutritional and lifestyle guidelines.
Monthly clinical checkups monitoring fetal heart rate, growth, maternal blood pressure, alongside gestational diabetes testing and arranging structural anatomy ultrasound scans.
Bi-weekly visits to fine-tune your personalized birth plan, confirm child pediatric choices, schedule education courses, and verify optimal fetal positioning (GBS screen at 36 weeks).
Active continuous labor support by our midwife team, either in our fully equipped luxury suites or in your home. Monitoring baby's heart rate, providing comfort measures, and managing delivery.
At-home visits at 24 and 48 hours for immediate postpartum and infant checkups. Clinical evaluations at 2 and 6 weeks, combined with lactation counseling and family support.
While midwifery care and physiological birth are safe for low-risk pregnancies, medical emergencies can happen. Willowmere maintains strict clinical parameters for birth center safety. During labor, our midwives monitor both mother and baby continuously.
If labor stalls or medical intervention is requested (such as epidural pain management), we arrange a peaceful, orderly transfer of care to our collaborative hospital partner, located just 1.5 miles away, with your midwife remaining by your side.
For immediate complications, emergency medical services are summoned. Our midwives are fully certified in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), keeping safety first and communicating directly with hospital staff.
